I don't have a G35, but my 15% modded MCS could not pass stock 350Z from 0-70(even with my wife driving the Z)

you'd be surprised how many G35's and 350Z's i catch off guard with my wife's yellow turbo beetle, lol...sure they can spank me silly, but most of them can't drive worth a sheet before realizing they're losing the gayest of cars

 

I have a 2005 MCS with CAI and MTH software Wife has 2003 G-35 4 door automatic. Her car is faster she does not even spin a tire and its hard for me to get my tires to hook up. I must admit my MINI feels faster but its not.

I'm just interested to race this guy in the G35, considering all the **** he talked. A couple of highlights (note, HE said this, not me, I just sat and listened, I wanted to see how far it would go):

-"Your wife wants to race me? In what, here Mini? Please. . ."
-"Yeah, the Nissan Z is more for younger people, the G35 is more related to the Skyline, which makes it a bit faster. Its a little lighter too."
-my favorite. . . "0-60 in 4.6 seconds"
-"If I put an intake on it, it'll pick up at least another 35, maybe 40 horses, wouldn't take much to get it to over 400"
*Note on the intake comments. When asked what kind of intake he was going to get, he told me, "I'll probably spend about $500 on it". I then told him, "Nismo is probably the way to go, and its only about $300-$350, and it'll get you MAYBE 10, 15 hp". He said "well, I'll spend $500 on it and get like 20 or 25 then right?", as if parts are priced strictly by hp gain or something. . .

Its a nice car, for sure, but he needs to be put in his place. One thing I am certain of, win or lose, it will help knock down his invincibility comlpex he has about the car, I just wanna see the 0-60 time on the slip so he can see that his car comes nowhere near 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. . .

hehe, I only like to see bullshitters put in their place, thats all. I was curious at what an intake would do, and a dyno of an AEM CAI on a 350Z showed gains of 5 whp and 5 wtq, and costs $300. Looks like he's gonna have to spend about $2k on an intake to get the kind of results he wants. . .
