I can't even begin to imagine just how insanely pissed I would be if the mechanic did that to my MINI !

Think I could get off on a Temporary Insanity plea ??

I am not sure if you could get off with that. I am also not sure it was acutally a shop worker driving...just a thought...

Seen it happen..thankfully it was a lifted Jeep, and the wheels were still on

Yeah, espeically if the shop was not at fault. I was looking at it again, and the protective floor grates were not in place. Those are *supposed* to prevent something like this from happening or so I thought.

So by your logic we should do our own surgery too since there are mistakes made by docs. Nah. I've never had problem with oil changes done by others or by docs and while that doesn't mean I never will I think I'll chance it. I've better things to do than worry about whether or not someone screwed something up. Can you imagine trying to do everything yourself and for me it's either that or nothing. Now once the freebees are gone it's a different story. ;-)

well doctors are a bit different...they have edumacation...and 100's of thousands to pay back in student loans.
