Rare Motorcycles anyone?

hi all! don't know if this is the right forum for this but figured i'd give it a shot. i have for sale a very rare motorcycle, it's a 1990 Yamaha FZR750R OWO1. it is a fully street-legal Italian import, actually only 1 of 25 that were imported into the USA that year. it was given to me by my father who was the original owner. the bike only has 2,200 km on it!! i also have a full box of spare parts that came with the bike in 1990 from Yamaha racing. this bike in 1990 was campaigned by the Vance & Hines team in Superbike racing, competing against the Honda RC30 (which my Dad also owned and we sold last year on Ebay). i have spent the last year getting this bike back in running order. it is currently in Lodi, NJ at Motocity Cycles, where they did a bit of carb cleaning and just ran a diagnostic check to make sure all was running well, and it is! hurts to sell this bike but want a newer more modern bike and a collector's bike like this deserves to be in a proper collection. so if anyone here is interested or knows of someone who may be interested please PM me for details. i will post pics up soon.

thanks in advance,

disco

EDIT: just updated my gallery with pics

Not shopping, but I owned a 1985 Yamaha RZ500 for 14 years. Got it new in August of 1984, made a group buy with the owner of the local dealer from a shop in Canada and brought 5 of them in. They were never sold in the US due to emission regulations, I would speculate around 75 of them found their way here during their two years of production. The RZ was a 500cc 2 stroke V4 with twin crankshafts, four side mounted carbs, and four individual exhaust pipes coming out the back. It was the first "race replica" sold by any of the Japanese companies and pretty unique in its day and even now. I sold it in 1999 to a local friend who has three of them he's saving for......
