its a nice car in general, esp for its class. at first i wasnt to crazed about the styling, and on lx and dx models im still a little flustered by it, but with the ex wheels, it just looks really good, kind of like a mini TL at certain angles, and around me theres a guy with an ex sedan with Si wheels (its not pre pro Si sedan, i dont think honda would shove it with an A/T as this car has, nor the two spoke steering wheel) but it, too, looks really good. plus it gets great fuel economy and is of a decent size. good choice, and i hope you enjoy it

Is the Legacy and Outback?

Tell us about why you like it!

Thanks.

yep, the styling really grew on me. When the coupe first came out it
reminded me of a Saturn (car) or U.F.O. or something too weird looking, but
the sedan always looked pretty good to me. And it does kinda look like
a miniature TL/TSX especially when lowered a tad and on 17's.

That's the wife's Legacy in the background.

Why I like my new civic... Styling (looks good for the price), quality,
fuel economy, smooth AT (i don't like driving MT to work), telescoping
steering wheel and seats make it very comfy to drive. The car handles
pretty good too, nice quick steering, small diameter steering wheel.

Few items I sacrificed was... no sport-shift mode on the AT, no leather
seats....but I can live without those. The cloth seats are actually pretty
comfy and nice. I can also hold the gears with the shift lever when
needed during turns.

Items i could live without... the gas pedal is like the MCS's organ pedal
but stiff to press. I wish they would've just put traditional pedals on the
car. Other then that, i really can't say anything bad about the CivicEX.

Got a postcard from the Honda dealer that my plates came in, so picked it up
during our errand today. My wife took our son inside the showroom while
I was getting my plates from the Cashier...my son ran to the red S2000
and said "this one!" everyone in the showroom cracked up. and
one of the sales guys told me i can put one on layaway...

no, i did not get one. as said before, dad doesn't like convertibles.

Correction!!! My post was inquiring about your Legacy....is it an Outback? You mentioned you like it...I was wondering about your opinion of it and why...

Thanks.
