Naw, I ain't tradin the MCS for no Ford truck, but my sister and her husband are buying a fifth wheel travel trailer and wanted my opinion on the truck.

This rig is designed for the heavy haul. Could with a doubt pull several MINI's and not even break a sweat. It was not loud at all under full power and rode pretty smooth, but then it had a long wheel base so it should ride pretty smooth.

Fact sheet says it gets about 16 mpg and out the door for about $38,000.

I think this weekend we go and test the Dodge truck with the Cummins diesel for a comparison.

Chevy DuraMax - great motor and most of all Allison tranny. The others are great motors also but weak in the tranny department. I prefer the Chevy interior layout. I drive a F-350 Powerstroke a bunch, boatloads of power but the interior is lacking.

The Allison tranny is nice but you can't overlook the Cummins diesel in the Ram. It's probably the best of the bunch. Choices, choices...

i doubt that, the new Duramax puts 360hp / 605 lbis torque, and the new 6 speed Allison is killer.... trust me, being in the business as well, been there, done that, owned all 3 of them, nothing comes close to a Duramax/allison combo. The design is your taste, I am at functionality and quality...
