Santa Fe rear fogs?

Rented a 05 Hyundai Santa Fe for a July 4th holiday to Minnesota and was wondering if anyone out there knows (or has wired up) the rear fogs.

I have noticed all along that the Santa Fe obvisously has the lens for the rear fogs just inside the rear reflectors, but have never seen a Santa Fe with them on. To my dissapointment, there is no switch for the fogs so I guess they are not being used for the U.S.

So, anyone out there wired the rear fogs on a Santa Fe?

Thanks for any reply.

Scott

we just bought an audi a4 and it has some hellishly bright rear fogs!

If you only rented a santa fe why are you interested in activating the rear fogs? Are you planning to buy one? If so the fogs may be an option and most people dont even know they are there and that might be why you have never seen them on.

Curious, that's why.

Grew up in Alaska with a lot of inclmented weather and have always been a fan of rear fogs, though rare even on European cars in the U.S. So I was just curious on the Santa Fe. If American drivers were more "aware" of their driving conditions, they would understand rear fogs more. No, I do not plan on buying a Santa Fe.
