740i BMW - Yea or Nay????

I have come across a really nice 2000 740i. Been very well kept. Dark Blue with Med Gray interior. Everything works as it is suposed to. Only downside I see is that it has 115,000 miles. Is it worth $15,000? It has new tires and has never been smoked in. Please let me have your input. Thanks,Bill

Bill... I have been down this road before... and each time I passed on the 7 series.
They depreciate faster than almost any car out there.. The maint that is required is very expensive, which is one of the reasons they sell for a fraction of their original price even with low mileage. They ride nice but don't live up to the BMW performance/reliability ratio of the other series... It's like a big boat that you gotta have, but when you have it you can't wait to get rid of it... It makes a great lease car cause you can hand it back and not worry about the warranty/maint issues...
Good luck..
