I had a 2005 S40 T5 6MT for about a year before buying my MCS. The car itself was awesome - that is, when it chose to start. My S40 was plagued with starting issues (starter failed, electrical problems didn't allow the car to start, etc...), stopping issues (brakes failed), and the list goes on.

All in all, it spent 54 days in the shop over a period of 11 months. Needless to say, Volvo bought the S40 back from me and I ran straight to the MINI dealership. It was a really fun car while I had it, but the problems just got old VERY quickly.



BTW, Ken - didn't you have a G20 a few years ago? I remember seeing you post on g20.net...

 

^^ yep, i did. I traded her in for a G35Coupe a few years ago.
