ok, ok, I admit, it is possible this has been posted here before, I did some searching though, and found nothing. Though, for some bizarre reason, searching for "boot" on this site returns quite a few unrelated subjects....

Yeah, yeah, I know why.

ok, well I apologize if I been beaten to this one, but, enjoy:

What ever do I do, pay the tickets, or be creative???

Very funny stuff. Can't believe I read the whole twenty-odd pages, though. He was lucky to get someone who was nervous about valve stem damage, and didn't really crank down the clamp as a result.

Given the way the clamp was off-center, and knowing that the clamps is lined with a rubber gasket to avoid rim damage, just deflating the tire would probably give him the play he needs to adjust the clamp's position and remove the lug nuts.

Campus Security were really cool about it, overall.
