Now remember, The king os engines belong to the 2JZ Motor found in the Supra's. They make up to 900 hp on pump gas. They run single turbo's with a lot of cam ad head work. Now that is sick

ok, well this is still impressive as the evo's 4g63 engine is NOT "supposed" to be able to handle this much power... period. also, the supra is 400 lbs heavier than an evo... and the evo is AWD. so this 622whp is FAR more than needed on an evo... let's just give some credit where credit is due, eh?

Should we start a pool on how long it'll be before that engine blows with that hp and 30lbs of boost? Damn. It's gotta be fun though.
Cheers,

Cheers,
Never mind that, he states when he punches the alcohol injection at higwayspead his car starts to break traction!

$499 for the alcohol injection kit and I don't know about the ECU reprogram. Makes even the best HP per $ mini upgrade seem pricey.

not that any mini owner's would care but... the ECU reflash was $299, and you get approx. 30 whp... and better fuel/air ratio, better (and more!) boost/boost control, engine knock elimination...

just wanted to share the info

You are right, there is a 400 lb difference, but, Supras were made for both straightline racing and drifting. Now as for the mini, forgedaboutit

uhhh yes, i've driven one. i've got one sitting in my garage right now. 370 whp as of tomorrow morning. and yes, it's orgasmically fast. but it's also heavy, cheaply made, and well, just plain boring... in comparison to my MCS that is. don't get me wrong, it's fun if you want to give yourself whiplash and get lots of tickets. anyhow, i would not be so pretentious as to diss a car i've never even driven...

and the best part is...that EVO had trouble getting away from an MCS today!! yeah that's right...100 hp difference and the EVO was barley moving an inch...I know cause I was driving the evo...OH YEAH...and that's an MCS that isn't done yet...ofcourse I wasn't that suprised cause I have driving enough cars to know..power isn't everything...and the turbo comes on all at once...making it feel agressive than the MCS where as the MCS is smoother...but that goes back to what Misifoota already said..."the evo is heavy, cheaply made, and well, just plain boring..."

just like the 750 whp supra I have driven....
or the 850 whp viper...
or the 600 whp 300zx..

awsome yes...but park one of them next to a Lambo or an F50 and it's still just a

Toyota
Dodge
Nissan

LOL, yeah... seeing that 205whp MCS keep up with the 307whp Evo was grrrreat!

Evo mods: $2000.00
MCS mods: $2500.00
Criminal speeding tickets for both drivers: $1786.57

Watching Ref hang with the Evo: PRICELESS
