Without a doubt the best 'Vette ever. Impressive specs to say the least. Great shots too!

Hopefully these guys will show up (again) at the Dragon during the time we are there. Someone's gotta show them how it's done.

The rears are indicated as being 345/30x19s. I would expect the front will be 19s as well but, obviously, something a size or two narrower.

Being RWD the bigger tires in the rear will give more grip, ans the smaller ones in the front will improve the angle and looks

Seats don't look the part to me. I guess they want more comfort than sport. But with all that engine/suspension you would think a deeper buscket would be in order.

Not so sure about some the interior styling queues (tho MUCH better than the C5) and the electrical overkill (particularly the electric door openers and no key for ignition)... but...

For $55,000, thats a pretty good performance buy. You could approach 550HP with some tweaks :-)

So now I can slam my body backward with the 3.8 secs to 60 and then forward with the 6 pot brakes

Just a guess, but I'd put the MPG at 17MPG city / 24 MPG hwy. Who says pushrod is dead???

C6 is only corvette i've ever liked. this one even more so. i like the body tweeks to differentiate it from lesser C6s. i think it's definitely got the real 'vette look now. like the '60s Stingrays.

Best option I think is the Heads-up Display

FROM THE CHEVY WEBSITE:

"Head-Up Display (HUD) With G-Meter
An available Head-Up Display (HUD) projects selected key vehicle information (even directions from an available navigation system) onto the windshield, allowing the driver to focus on the driving. There are three settings for HUD — street, track 1 and track 2 — selectable by the mode button. In total, there are 10 different display combinations that the driver may select, including vehicle speed, engine rpm, a performance upshift guide for the six-speed manual transmission and readings from key gauges, such as temperature and oil pressure. New for 2005, a real-time g-meter also displays lateral acceleration in track mode."

Just noticed, not so sure I like the implementation of the rear-brake vents. I'm sure their functional, but I prefer the old style with the vents nearer to the ground. Still dig the outside look overall, tho

I am not a fan of corvettes in general unless the are pre 1972 or the 77 in Corvette summer. I will not doubt the performance of this car and its price will put many people in it. Unforunately you will see one everywere you go with some Disco wannabe driving it!!!!
