MINIs are Great, but ...

... this baby takes the cake hands down. It's even better than La Ferrari (in my biased opinion) and arguably as fast as the McLaren at 2.5 sec/60mph!

And that Porsche only costs $929,000 without destination fees. And for that, no A/C and no radio - both removed for lightness.

What Price ...

hath glory! And worth every dollar for those capable of converting such dreams into reality. Who needs a radio to interfere with the sweet rhapsody of the engine drone and delightful cacophony of its exhaust. For most of us such dreams are pure fantasy and even for the wealthy since getting in the purchasing queue requires not only mountains of cash, but powerful connection as well. Consider the 918 a rare earth precious jewel known as "unobtanium." I don't think anyone capable of buying a $1m car need be concerned with destination fees, gas-guzzler and/or sales taxes. They may be more inclined to ponder personalized/bespoke interior accoutrements and a distinctive color "coating" guaranteed to make onlookers salivate like a kennel of famished Pavlovian canines if they are ver fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of such a car traveling in slow-mo down Rodeo Drive, Greenwich Avenue, or speeding down PCH en route from Newport to Malibu.

I've always been a P-car fan! I hope to own one before I kick the bucket! 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder - Jay Leno's Garage - YouTube

The new widow maker! Hope they stick better than the GT. 3 were totaled in the Pacific Northwest in one summer alone! Insurance on them went through the roof. The drivers were all guys that own garages full of high performance cars. Not newbies at the wheel by any means.

Waving at other Mini's

Wish other mini owners would wave when on the road. A fun tradition.

As each year goes by you see it less and less. Not like the first 3-4 years

at all.

Yes, very nice, quick, and sexy car.

For 1/9th of the price ($100K vs. $900+K to be exact), you can do 0-60 in only 0.3 seconds slower if you bought Nissan GT-R. 2.9 second 0-60, coupe, seats 4 people. Massively fast and unassuming.

For 1/15th of the price ($62K vs. $900+K), you can do 0-60 in still insane 3.9 seconds by buying F80 M3:

And that car, my friends, is both cool, crazy fast, has 4 doors and trunk!
