THP Big Turbo from Argentina
Hi all, this is my first post in this forum. First at all, English is not my primary lenguaje, so, forgive my mistakes.
I find this forum very well informed and with tons of information regarding Minis in particular and THP engines in general.
So I think is a very good place to post and show my almost finished project of an upgraded Peugeot 207 Gti (THP 156 HP).
Turbo is a brand new one from a 99-06 Subaru WRX (no sti); Mitsubishi TD04-13T turbo. Kinugawa Japan.
I know that almost all the bigger turbo projects for this engine have TD05-16G big or Garret GT28, but, I find them too big for this engine and I did´t wanted to loose spool up and have lots of lag.
In my search for the best no twin scroll turbo 240 whp 270 Crank HP capable ( and doing some calculations (engine efficiency, etc...) I find this one the best for my project.
I know that may be the best upgrade for this engine is the Alta Hybrid, but 2500 u$d (3500 after customs here) it was far out of my budget.

Project is not finished yet, car is going to the dyno tomorrow, so I don't know how many HP has, I´m looking for 230-240 whp, which is, I think for other experiences, the "safe" limit for this engine without rod modifications and so on..

No, no Etuners, I know who they are (Stelios..)
The problem I have right know is the weak diverter coil..seems that can´t handle the presure..(20psi) so I´m trying diferent coils right now...
