i was looking around online today at a picture of the Morgan Aeromax, is it just me, or did they use r53 headlamps? i know they use bmw engines, but i figured they wouldnt be able to get new headlamps in quantity for a 5 year old car

 

Yes they did. Here is another pic of one that was at the British Invasion in Stowe Vermont.

 

What do you mean "in quantity". It's not like a Morgan is a high production number car. In fact, from what I can find, they only built 100 of those. I doubt it's very hard for them to get their hands on 100 sets of headlights.

 

They sure look like them. Lots of people use the R53 lights in after market applications - hot rodders etc. Its cool
