Tough decision.
Tough decision.
Well as the title suggests, today I had to make a tough decision, whilst my road going Clubbie was again in the BMW workshop, waiting for the technicians to diagnose the rhythmic rapping noise from my engine, I sat in a 135i M sport coupe, and after a few questions to the salesman, one of which was, is this the top of the range, he said no, there is a new 1 M Coupe, I didn't know anything about this, I do now,
and those of you that watched top gear on the 26/06/2011 will also know what I am now referring too.
Now some of you maybe aware that last year I bought a Countryman S all4, and to be really honest, although it's practical, so is the Clubbie, and the Clubbie handles way and by far beyond that of the Countryman, so yes I have sacrificed the Countryman, and ordered (without a test drive) a 1 series M Coupe in Valencia Orange, and some good news, I'm still keeping the clubbie too, albeit with it's faults, which today's problem has been diagnosed as the water pump, and belt tensioner.

Awesome choice. I'm not a big fan of the 128/135i, but the 1M really looks great and looks more like the car I always wanted (an older M3 - not the current gen). Unfortunately the 1M is really in a different price range than a JCW with a base price of CAD$54,400 including the orange paint.
