Dude,

Spring for the $20 yourself for the M3 CarFax. I find it incredulous that you would be willing to spend big bucks for a BMW hot rod yet try to get a free history report. I understand that some folks buy the 30 day, all you care to run CarFax contract, but come on, something like this should come straight from the company, not from "someone" whose report you couldn't directly verify.
