NISSAN! With this lovely little number that is supposed to start showing up at U.S. dealerships in early spring. The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet:

When I first saw concept picts of this "thing", I literally thought it was a joke, and figured it would never hit the assembly lines. Today, I read that it will be going on sale very shortly.
An AWD crossover? really? REALLY!?
So horrid that Canada has refused to sell it! IMO, smart move on their part. I mean seriously, what target population did Nissan figure this would appeal to? The only one that comes to mind for me are the elderly living in the Florida Keys who can use this as their evacu-mobile during hurricane season. BUT hey, it isn't all bad, at least they'll be able to cruise with the top down as the storm approaches AND, the colors offered can match their tropical locale. What's even worse is that this thing is estimated at nearly $50k.
has anyone else been keeping tabs on what Nissan has been rolling out with lately? I simply can't understand their styling concepts.
Don't get me started on the Cube.

And the 2011 Quest
Now, while all of these vehicles may be popular in Japan, there is a very, very big difference in design norms and styling. IMO, I don't see any of these vehicles succeeding in the U.S. markets.
What do you guys think? Any other cars out there that really irk you?

Just because you can, doesn't necessarily mean one should
Time would have been better spent finding a solution for the R56 S carbon build up issue......or designing a different engine......my 2 pence.

I have to agree with you. Trouble is the MINI prince lump is almost ready to go out of production. No redesign, but hopefully a better band aide fix.
Those Nissan's are sooo bad they are funny. The Cube & Juke look normal compared to that drop top Moron-O...
