Now I do not have anything against convertibles,(well besides safety concerns) they can be vary nice cars. However certain cars should not be convertibles, even when they are very valuable or look good. Those are the cars that are supposed to be driven.
So, please explain the safety concerns. Also, since I have a convertible MINI, I guess I can only steer it. Even though it has been to the track on multiple occasions.

Look, convertibles are not for everyone. They introduce an experience much different than a hard top automobile. To each his own, I just don't think you should stereotype people based on their choices.....

Hit a moose with any car (or most trucks) and you are looking at a bad output. Most convertibles now a days have roll bars in place, so you don't get crushed in the event of a roll.
