The ONLY problem with the new 'stang is the model year. This is definately a fortieth aniversary car, it should be marketed as a 2004 1/2!

Looks sharp. Almost as good as a 1969 Boss 302.

My 2 cents.

I like the look of the front end, with the extra lights. If memory serves the second generation Mustang had that look, I'm thinking '67-'69. Maybe one of the Mustang experts out there could confirm those dates.

I also like the rear lights. The three vertical lines say "Mustang" whereas the wide horizontal strip of lights on the show car says "Mercury Cougar" circa 1968. (Which makes me wonder, will there be a Cougar sister model?)

The rear window behind the B-pillar does look weird. Maybe it's a safety/visibility issue, but the louvered fastback treatment would look better.

And the wheels on the show car are a lot more agressive than their production counterparts.

Glad to see that Ford is finally waking up and reviving some style in their line. All in all, the Mustang looks pretty good. Now, for the test-drive reports........
