Motorcycle chase reaches 140 mph

Motorcycle chase reaches 140 mph on Ariz. highway
A motorcyclist is in custody after leading Arizona highway patrol officers on a chase at speeds reaching 140 mph. ...
Video included.

Hey, I like to drive fast, but this is ridiculous! Last time I was in California, I saw a few motorcylists driving like this on the dashed white line. The other thing, our photo enforcement didn't help at all.

Not hard for those things to reach those speeds... at all. He should've stopped while he was ahead.

Is it the speed, or the motorcycle?

140 itself isn't that big a deal (I use to be an autobahn regular).

It's the dumby riding it... the other 2 factors aren't an issue without that. And yer right, 140mph on that bike (CBR600RR it looks, maybe a 1000RR) isn't anything in the right hands.

Yeah, as previously stated, 140 really isn't a problem, the loose nut behind the wheel (err...handlebars) is. I have a buddy who daily drives a Hayabusa, 70k miles. Now that is one scary bike. No problem to cruise at that speed, not that he does...

If you want to go fast, take it to a racetrack or drag strip.
