I think I finally see why you need those cameras and recording devices in your Mini. Those drivers aren't too polite.

It's called Smart for Two, not four two, and they're a lot tougher than they look. I think they're the perfect car for NYC, because you can drive like the one in the video. They fit almost anywhere, either in moving traffic or parked.

I love that kind of traffic as long as it's moving. Having lived in NY when I was younger I know if it wasn't raining the pace would have been faster.

Thanks. Funny, I saw it refered to as FourTwo a while ago and that's what stuck in my head. Fortwo it is or is it Fort-Wo?

Yeah, it's the 96th entrance. I don't think my wife has caught on why I'm always so willing to help buy groceries. Who am I kidding? She knows.

Driving in NYC is a BLAST, especially in a MINI!!!! I like the Westside Highway, either way and the Cross Bronx - OMG in a mini, it's an adventure! FDR by Brooklyn Bridge is cool too.
Never have I been so afraid of being on a highway than in Boston MA!! They are insane!!! Saw a guy go in reverse on the highway because he missed an exit. That was just plain scarry!
And those SmartCars - Makes my Mini look like an Escalade. No thanks, they're just toooo small for comfort for me.

Why do they bother painting lines for lanes? Seems like no one uses them anymore. Half the time in the video everyone is driving on a line.

I went into Manhattan today to attend the Big Apple Bar-Be-Que Block Party in Madison Square Park. I parked my MINI on 25th Street a half block west of Seventh Ave, at a 13-foot curb in between two driveways into a storage company. Sweet. No one could park in front or behind me. Best space ever.

I love motoring in the city. My wife and kids call me cabbie insane. But with the MINI's maneuverability, it's so much fun. Of course, I've driven thusly over the years in a '75 Fiat 128, '82 Sentra station wagon, '94 Volvo wagon (good handling) and in the past year my wife's BMW 328xi.

That little video of the smart car was booooooooring.

I've been zipping around Manhattan on my bikes for over 20 years. The MINI is just about as much fun. Find a spot and just point-n-shoot!

Lordy, that's more moving vehicles than I see in a month of commuting to work (13 mi. each way). "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" -apologies to John Denver-
