Is it just me or do the salvage guys look a little intimidating? Especially the lead salvage diver.
I would expect salvage divers to look intense and grizzled. Hairdressers they are not (though I do know one tough-looking hairdresser ).
The story is a fascinating read. A shame about the cars, but at least people were not stuck with cars that might have become problematic down the road. From what I've been told by someone who works at an auto port, most ports have on site a baler or shredder (or have quick acccess to one) to deal with damaged cargo. It gets used quite regularly.
