Counterfeit C&C (Prescott Antique Auto Club show)
Counterfeit C&C (Prescott Antique Auto Club show)
In our neck of the woods, we don't git no fancy fast cars. But this has been the show of the summer for 33 years, and the setting is different.

I rushed through because I was Parking Chairman (no time to goof off).
This tractor was scattered around a field back east, and this guy got it back together and running.

This is not licensed for the street.

Staying in hotels is so expensive nowadays.

Even the Hydosall stuff can't shine this.

For sale, needs paint.

Has vintage SUV pontential.

Ever heard of a Diamond T? Could make a bitchin' car hauler.

I don't remember seeing this going over the speed bump.

Looks good for 91 years old.

If you don't know what this is... go away.

I snapped whatever I could while working here.

Lots of rain helped with the grass.

Daily driver of one of the club members.

Gotta love Cab Over Engine trucks!

Pre Nader detail.

Not sure why I like this...

Isuzu running gear.
That's a peek at my car show, I mean the Prescott Antique Auto Club's Car Show, Old engine Fire-up, and Parts Exchange.
I have more pictures somewhere.

The more I look at the classic White roll back the more I'm impressed with the work that went into creating that. It looks like the builder took a classic White cab over and grafted it to a modern roll back wrecker chassis. The bumper looks custom and I'm not sure if that vintage white had the extra area behind the front seats as pictured so the builder may have fabbed that as well, and where do you get the glass for something like that!? Very nice work.
MDK: I saw the cab at a paint shop several months ago, it's factory. The glass is all flat, so no problem.
MaxN: sorry no, I was in a hurry to get back to working the parking; it was a record Sat. so was too busy to do a good job.:impatient
SteveLV: no, Uncle Tinny.
Thanks for looking!

I'm avoiding yard work....
....so I thought I would round up the rest of my pictures.

These two snuck in. The hit and miss engines are behind them next to the Granite Dells, behind the vintage trucks.
Who let these new things in?????
It was full capacity when they parked.

The Swap Meet is behind this way cool Mercury. If MINIs didn't exist, I would be okay with this.

The Merc's interior smelled of dead cows ~~~~ewwww~~~~~~!

If you're really REALLY into Oaklands, you can buy this. I didn't ask the price.

Hey MaxN, what do you think of this background?
That is the Granite Dells.

Some members of the club always drive their old cars.

Trying to be artsy.
ADVICE: always wear black, not orange road-kill vest and cone hat. ~duh~

If MINIs didn't exist,...

For someone who just loves fixing things.:impatient

Some of the show cars coming in. Good thing I didn't have some big honkin' camera beating the crap out of me that day. I'm lucky to have been able to take these.
