Carlisle in the rain. Is it worth it?

Has anyone been to a Carlisle Pennsylvania show in the rain? Do they have tents. Is it muddy? Is it worth it? This weekend is supposed to be the biggest kit car show in the U.S. plus the vintage import show and a special focus on vintage Volvos. Any experience anyone with Carlisle in the rain? Should we bail?

I haven't been there but I understand that there is one building where the featured vehicles are displayed-like the "saint" Volvo P1800 and such- and the rest are outside. Is the rain a sure thing? If so that sucks!

I've been to Carlisle in the rain. Its really no different than being in a big field in the rain. There is a lot of buildings to hide in and most vendors have tents over their stuff if it looks like rain. The grandstand is well covered from downpours and is a great place to get air without getting drenched. It hasen't rained too heavily in PA very recently so the ground will probably be a little muddy but no swamp land.
