Has anyone heard of, or put together, a meeting place for MINI's in the Santa Clara Valley?
Although I haven't seen any other MINI's during my travels I know you must be out there.
Anyone have any ideas?

I haven't heard anything but I will check out the MINI2 website. I did hear that MOALA (MINI Owners of America Los Angeles) is getting together at the Orange County Fair Grounds 8/24 & 8/25. A lot of old MINI's and I e-mailed them about the new ones. They encourage new to come too, but the registration price is steep.

I just went to the MINI2 site and found the event. There will be two gatherings. The first is 8/17 at the presidio next to the parade grounds. They are thinking of getting together to drive in a line down Lombard street and having people take pictures from below early in the morning. There will be another gathering in October. I'm going to try and make the 8/17 date. I am relocating to Denver so I won't be able to make the October trip.

There are a lot of around, MINI of Concord had a gathering for the owners back in early May, there were alot of MINI owners and cars there. Mine had not come until a few weeks later. It is hard to wait but so much fun once you have it. My wife is about to kill me, I've put close to 7,000 miles on the car since I got it on May 24th.

Hello MINI motorers of Northern California!

Yes, the San Francisco Bay Area MINI meet will be held this coming Saturday August 17th.
We will be meeting at the north end of Van Ness St., near the beach at 8:00 a.m. We are planning on a drive down Lombard Street for a picture to be taken.
Later, at 10:00 a.m., we are planning on meeting at the Presidio Visitors Center Parking lot and hopefully plan a drive somewhere around the Bay Area with a stop for lunch along the way.

Just to let our know that the San Francisco MINI meet was a succes!
At least 12 MINI Coopers turned out on Saturday morning at Lombard Street and the Presidio. It was very nice to see all of those MINIs together!

TBP38 - Welcome to MCO! There have been a couple of organized meets in SF within the few months. You'll need to check back here often for future gatherings. Also MINI2 has postings for N. Cal meets.
