Well, our fearless leader does it again.

Nikki, you are a superstar. Many thanks to Mike and Brian too We had a great bunch of people out there today.

The rain held off (for the most part ) while we drove a great run. And talk about a way to finish, coming down those curves had Heather hanging on to anyhting she could.

All I can say is.....

WHEN IS NIKKI RUN #7????

 

We hit that rain there too, but it sure dried up for the run!

Nice pictures. I like the cows. It turned out to be an exellent drive. What a good turn out we had. I was wondering about the weather but we really had some lucky breaks with the sun coming out when we needed it. Breakfast at Mels was fun. The view from the bridge was great. Bolinas Road was a trip, dodging tree stumps, pot holes and all that. I don't know if I have ever had such a clean run up the coast. Only two cars and they moved right over. We even found the picnic tables for lunch and got Easter eggs. We had the back country to ourselves. You can't beat that. I am ready for the next one.

Sorry I missed this one - photos look great.
I was watching the morning news, at 8:45, and they had a live GGB shot - so I got to see (2) MINI's shoot across the bridge ... I'm assuming that they were part of the group. Sometimes you have to live vicariously.

PS: My car is alive and well and back in its garage (after having the air bag wire harness, located under the front seats, replaced under warranty).

8:45 is about the time 6 MINIS were cruising across the bridge. This was the 8AM Page Mill crew.

Well, after having Bender washed today, I decided to upload my photos.

I didn't know digital cameras have atomic clocks. Unless you set your time that morning I highly doubt the clock was accurate. Camera clocks are not very good about being accurate (of course I dont' expect a clock to take great photos either).

 

hmm... my Sony digicam keeps better time than my Omega

 

What a day today!!

So I leave my house in the rental around 12 and get to MINI of Mountain View and who other do I see then Steve!!! Dropping his car off since it broke down on him(Hope they get it fixed quick!!!!) Talked to him a little bit then drove him over to enterprise(my car wasn't ready yet) So I turned in my car into enterprise and they gave it to steve!! lol.. Then we got back in and steve drops me at the dealer...I wait about 2 hours more...(sidenote: I was never called to the dealer...just showed up to see how my car was)...so they finished up my car...I hop on in start to leave and who do I run into but another Nikki Runner, MINIFly(paul) IB/W MCS, we talk a little bit about steves car and my rims then I head on home!!

Got home, I kinda have a rattle now on my exhaust...they had to take my header off...but I got an awesome hook up now on a borla race, will be gettin it sometime the end of this week..So that will be going in along with the stock cat on my obx header soon!! (shameless plug: will have borla sport up for sale soon)

All in all, pretty cool day...sunny out cars clean and running good!!
