Thanks, Steve! I needed a good laugh!!! And Brian, for the oh-so-flattering trivia question!

Zied, I do believe Steve's comment was in jest. However, I'm curious to know what MINI club is in the South Bay?

I was figuring it might be in jest...
Norcal MINIs... centered in the Dublin-Pleasanton area (southern portion of the east bay anyway and only 20 miles to the heart of San Jose).
Don't get me wrong... I think the more clubs the better especially if you are offering runs that other clubs are not.

Peter, it was a bit of a joke between the folks who regularly get together for the Nikki runs.

Any Nikki Runners going on the Mines Rd. Mt. Hamilton run?

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=57619

I'm planning on meeting up with them when they hit Livermore. I've driven most of this route and it's FUN! Open to non-club members.

The full map with estimated times and stops for this run as well as all planned future and past REME runs are available online at the REME web site. Discussion concerning the East Bay-Mount Hamilton run and all REME events can be accessed from the REME MegaBBS.

Nikki here is the post from NorCal, let me know if you need any more infomation.

We will stop at the parking lot for Robertson park that is on South Livermore (heading south) just before Concannon. This is just before the left onto Tesla. It should be around 945 hopefully. This would be a good place to get set for mines. Final info. change place in the pack.

Anybody planning any runs up the CA coast, namely Ft. Bragg? We have a few people interested, just wanted to know if any clubs have anything organized. If not, then I guess we will have to plan something.

haulinS - Sorry to hear about your dog. Is everything OK? Family takes prescedence over a run (even if its a four legged member of the family).

I hope to meet you on a future run.

We will likely plan a run to Fort Bragg in July, August, or October. October may be the nicest weather considering its on the coast... FOG

For all of you looking for a GOOD run, don't forget the REME Shasta-Trinity-Mt. Lassen Run in June. This is actually starting on Friday AM in Healdsburg and will travel up through Cloverdale, Hopland, Legget, Garberville to Fortuna before heading east on 36 on a great road (up-down-left-right) and 3 until Redding Friday night. Friday AM starts out west on 299 to Weaverville, then up the Trinity Lake to Trinity Center, on to Callahan over to Gazell and then back to Mt. Shasta for Saturday night. A dinner train ride Saturday night. Sunday its off down 89 to Burney Falls, lunch in Burney then east on 299 up over the mountain until Oak Run, then across to Whitemore and over to Shingletown, then up 44 to Mt. Lassen Volcanic Park. then back to Redding for Sunday night.

This is the RUN for the serious!!! Details on the REME website under events.

so far - so good

DrkSlverS, yes, so far she has been doing well. This was the second episode we've had with her and now the vet has confirmed it as epilepsie. They gave her a phenobarb IV that pretty much knocked her out and now she is on daily medication to try and control her brain activity. She seems to be a bit more sluggish since starting the medication, but she hasn't had any recurring issues since. we're keeping our fingers crossed. thanks for asking.

hope to see you on a future run as well!

I'll definately be going on this run, and like NR#4, I'll prolly be at the very back of the pack, "bringing up the rear".

I would really love to go on this run, but my son has a school video project he has to work on that weekend so I don't know if I'm able to make it. I may have to shuttle him around all weekend . I wish he would hurry up and get his license.

Will be going on the Mines Rd/Mt Hamilton run after all. Hope to see everyone there! I think we'll meet up with them at the second meet up on Ygnacio Valley Rd in Concord. I'm not real sure where the 3rd meet up is in Livermore, although it would be a lot closer.
