Nikki Run #4?
Hey Mini's and Miniett's, I was just thinking that we usually do these spirited drives earlier in the day so that everyones ready for lunch just after noon. If an earlier meeting time works I can meet everyone later in the day. I'm stuck at work til at least noon or so.
Hopefully, I'll see everyone at an earlier time! Look for me in your rear view mirror flying to catch up.

Took my MINI out last night for about 10 minutes and it was worse than I remembered. The car died at idle three times and once when I was coming up a hill in my parking garage
As soon as it stops raining Ill go tweek a few things and HOPEFULLY M7 sends me my parts soon!

I just got done takin it apart and checking everything out and it looks like Ive got a few things Ive got to get done before I even think about AMVIV. Hopefully M7 will send the stuff out quickly so I can at least get my intake all sorted out.
My To-Do List
HOPEFULLY thats it. The only thing that are stopping me from really being able to drive it are the plugs, AGS tube, and brake rotors.
My To-Do List
- New spark plugs
- Change rear brake rotors
- Fix driving lights
- Install new throttle body
- Install new AGS tube
- Have roll bar built
- Install Recaros

I may tag along for this one. It's been 10 months since my last run and I'm curious to see how everyone's cars are comming along.
Jason, I'm bummed to hear your car is having trouble, you seemed to be making good progress with it.

Hey, I was scouting out the route and Zayante Rd is just too beat up from the rain. So, at this point we won't be able to make both of the suggested points (Bear Creek Road and Felton). Sooo, I've modified the route so we can still run through Felton and make it out to the coast up to Alice's.
Here's the new, slightly modified route that now runs over highway 17 instead of Zayante Rd:

So, the route is now:

So, the route is now:
Highway 17, over the hill Graham Hill Road to Felton (high speed passing lanes out of Scotts Valley are fun)
Felton Empire Grade (up hill, twisty, well paved)
Empire Grade (short but fun)
Pine Flat road down to the coast (#3) (nice turns, well paved, a blast)
Highway 1 (nice)
Gazos Creek Road
Cloverdale Road (#4)
Percadero Creek Road (#5)
La Honda Road to Alice's (#6
Let me know if this route looks okay with everyone!

looks like my MINI wont be ready but I still wanna meet up with you guys. mind if I tag along in my other car? I think ill cut across bear creek instead of going over 17 since 17 = speed trap. Im definitely down for empire grade thought.... I love that friggin road!
