Okay, I am stuck in Northeast Oklahoma but I am a Northern Californian by birth (Lakeport) and I live to drive over the Hopland Grade and of course the Coast Highway around Fort Bragg on my annual visits home. I have been over Hopland in a '61 VW Bus (okay, stop laughing it went down the hill pretty quickly), a '59 Porsche Convertible D (the best ride so far), various rental cars, a couple of Alfa Romeos (a '57 Guillieta (sp?) and a '79 Graduate) but I know that my Mini will be the ultimate ride. In Oklahoma most of the roads either go straight (for miles and miles) or turn 90 degrees one way or the other. Still my Chili Red and White MCS is loads of fun, but missing the essence. Let me live vicariously through one of you. Cheers!
