I'm trying to decide where to take my MCS for a JCW install. I'm in N. California.

Good / bad experiences would be appreciated.

 

Have you thought of going with the DINAN setup? From what I've heard they are as good, if not better, than the JCW and they carry the same warranty and I believe they're cheaper. Their office is in Morgan Hill.

 

Yes, I've considered the Dinan package. But I decided against it because it gives much less horsepower boost. Plus, it's not CA-legal, and I just don't want the hassle every time I need to get smogged .

With the JCW, I'm CA-legal, and I get lots more ponies to play with.

So I'm still curious where Bay Area folks have had their JCW kits installed.

Anyone ?

 

I had mine done at EastBay MINI. Their labor rate is less than SF MINI, not sure about Concord MINI.

I'm happy with the installation of the JCWorks Package as well as other work that they performed,
emissions recall, ect.

Be sure to join NorCal MINIs http://www.norcalminis.com/ because EastBay MINI gives a 10% discount on parts and labor for members and that adds up on a 'Works' installation.

MINI of Concord installs the JCW Cooper S kit for $6740 out the door.

They just opened up their new MINI service center, and one can get an appointment set up within a few days or less in most cases.
