Need custom audio shop recommendation

Hi there,

can anyone recommend a clean, (mini) knowledgeable, custom audio shop in the Bay Area (say between SF and SJ)? Ideally, the shop would have some knowledge of the intricacies of the Mini/HK sound system as I'm looking to replace at least the headunit and possibly adding a custom sub enclosure as well.

thanks in advance!

If you're willing to go to Roseville, Car Audio Innovations would be my recommendation. They've worked on a few cars for me and they do the best work I've seen.

thanks Minidrivr!
Car Audio Innovation has been highly recommended by several folks, They do look like they do some outstanding custom work! If I can't find a shop more local (sf<>sj), I will definitely give them a try.

anyone know of a comparable shop in the sf-sj area???

cheers!

Try Sound Wave in San Carlos. They work on Minis. If you are a Redwood Empire Mini member you get 15% off.

I highly recommend Bing from Simplicity in Sound. To check out his work, go to simplicityinsound.com. He mainly does SQ oriented installs with OEM quality in mind and has very very reasonable install prices. Tell him Darren referred you... Good luck.

They did work on a 911 and a few others for me. Custom sub enclosures, amp, speakers, etc. I haven't done anything with my Mini's HiFi.
