Dec 2nd Toys for Tots Run
I convinced my better half and we'll be joining you all starting at MoMV. I need to pick up a toy or two and I'm confused (as usual
) What sort of toy(s) should we bring? What age group is the most common that's in need of toys? Something for an infant or something for a hyperactive 7 year old boy? Is there a web site for more information about this toy drive?

There is not a web site for this event but it is listed at norcalminis.com with a sign up sheet. There is also a Marines Toys for Tots web site. We get alot of stuff for younger kids, Early teens could use things like CD's and such. I've drained the cell phones power so if anyone needs to call wait till later Friday night so I can charge it.
Speednut,
Here is the link to the Marines Toys fo Tots website: http://www.toysfortots.org/

Sorry guys that I missed this run even though we were signed up. Last night I fell off a draftsman chair, knocked myself unconscious and gashed about 3" of scalp. Spent most of the night in the ER. Got the head stapled shut. Hope to make the next one in my right mind!!!
Sorry to have missed you...
and sorry for your injury
That NORMALLY happens AFTER a trip to Guadalajara
Here's wishing you a "speedy recovery" Randy! We missed you and Meredith both at the run and party.
Thanks to Brian, Carol, Larry, Tammi, and everyone else who was involved in the TFT run for making this holiday affair and absolute blast.
Merry Christmas To All as we motor out of sight!
Rick, Carol, Christopher, and The Blue Bull Dog

TFT Run
Travis and I enjoyed meeting you all. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the ride from MINI of Mountain View to East Bay. However, we had to break off from there as we too had some other commitments. Hope we can stay longer next time.

Thank you all for all your kind words. I'm doing much better.
I noticed that the next run - the Livermore Wine Tour in Livermore - is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2007. That night the following concert is at a funky old little theatre in Antioch, the El Campanil Theatre located at 602 W. Second Street, Antioch www.elcampaniltheatre.com The concert is part of the Community Concerts series www.communityconcerts.com Doors 7:15 pm, Showtime 8:00 pm:
Norton Buffalo & Roy Rogers
An Evening of Hot Acoustic Blues
norton-buffalo.com, roy-rogers.com
Reserved: Gold Circle: $42, Adults: $27, Sr: $24, Child: $22
Norton Buffalo is an extraordinary harmonica player known for his work with people like Steve Miller and Boz Skaggs, as well as Roy Rogers.
Roy Rogers is a great blues guitarist who has also played with a variety of top-named acts. Together they are very, very good. I have seen them many, many times. If you like blues music a wonderful time is surely guaranteed. If any of you are interested in going after the run, pm me by December 20th; let's do it together.

Thanks for the great pics
. I had to pick up the toys today. We had to get them into Santa's system early due to the large amount
. Santa has some older elves doing the wrapping and they didn't want to overload them at the end of the month. We will still collect them for a couple more weeks. Thanks again to everyone.
