Anyone Up for a Parade?
Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Parade
The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival which has been an annual event in Sonoma since 1897, is holding a festival and parade, and MINIs/Minis have their own catagory. This is a charity event where the proceeds go to Valley of the Moon Children's House, Vineyard Workers Services, Hanna Boys Center, and Sonoma Valley High School Viniculture Scholorship.
All MINI/Minis have been asked to participate in the parade. The cost of entry is $20/car and is a charitable donation. First place will receive a trophy/plaque, second & third will get ribbons. We will be limited to 30 MINI entrees, so get your application in now.
The parade will be held, Sunday Sept. 24, 2006 at 12:00 noon in Sonoma CA. Other vehicles in the parade will be Classic Hot Rods, Show Motorcycles, Tractors and Farm Equipment in addition to marching bands, horses, and all the other Parade regulars.
