Which fire are you talking about? There is the Summit Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains, but that is nowhere near Hunter Liggett.

The only Mt Madonna Rd. I find on Google Maps is near Gilroy.

 

Well, besides there's supposed to be rain tomorrow, so .. either there's a fire or rain .. pretty sure the two don't get along together very well

The Summit Fire is not near our run. We will be about 100 miles away. And the rain will be up in the north bay. All looks good for Saturday .

 

Boy I hope so, weathermen .. er weather-people ... are right up there with witch doctors. Boggedy boogeddy .. it's going to rain .. wait .. no it won't .. well maybe .. nah, you'll be ok ..

Glad to hear the fire isn't near our run, I did however wake up this morning smelling smoke. My first thought was it's Memorial day weekend and the neighbors must be getting an early start on their BBQ. I was thinking to myself .. "why are they up so early getting that BBQ ready on a Friday morning!!!!?". Then I walked outside and remember .. "Oh ya .. fire .. Santa Cruz Mountains .. ahhhh".

 

Anyone wanna meet in San Jose to caravan to Carmel for eats??

Look what I found when I was driving through Monterey Saturday morning. I was in my truck and did not want to mini crash the breakfast.
