Larry, do you know there is a California mission inside the base? Might be a fun stop. I've stopped there a few times.

Wow! This sounds fun. I just bought a used Mini and new to the forum - I just drove from Monterey to Big Sur yesterday. It was a fun drive! Would not mind joining the fun and meet some local Mini owners.

I think we can stop there for a photo op. I made a model of that mission out of sugar cubes in the 60's .

No, not unless my MCS was out running around without me.

Was it Pure Silver with a black racing stripe on the bonnet only?

Nice photos. Think I'll bring my Nikon D2x. Photography is one of my too many hobbies.

I should have new Bobcat 1521 brake pads installed by then.

Is the fire going to effect the run?

Last I heard the fire was nearing Mt Madonna Rd.
I have good memories of that place. It would be a shame
to see it go.
