Greetings! I am the Principal of Lexington Elementary School in Los Gatos ( http://www.lex.lgusd.k12.ca.us ), a public school of 150 students that is one of 5 schools in the Los Gatos Union School District. We are located in the foothills 5 minutes south of Los Gatos.� For the last 6 years, we have included a very special sports car & hot rod car show as part of our annual "Day on the Green" fund raiser ( a 36+ year tradition)...We are a unique public school, as we are only one of seven �International Baccalaureate Primary World Schools �in the State. Our "Day on the Green" event will have an international theme this year and it is for this reason that I am writing to you. I am respectfully inviting you and any member of your club to join us by showing your car(s). An entry fee is not requires and we offer each driver a free meal as a token of our appreciation. We also offer 1st, 2nd & 3rd place "Peoples' Choice" trophies to our winners and certificates of participation to everyone else who participate in the show. in addition our event��event, which includes food, music, and a silent auction for all and special field events for our students, is scheduled for Sunday, May 18th and runs from 2:00 to approx. 6:00PM...Last year we had nearly 35 registered participants. This year, I am looking to get a wide assortment of foreign cars. I am hopeful that 2 or 3 (or more) of your members would be willing to join us for a fun and relaxing event.� All funds raised go to the children/programs for our school.
