I am currently in possession of a car that does not pass smog and whose transmission is about to go out. Does anyone know of a junk yard in the Bay Area that would actually give me some sort of cash for this car? I've only found places that offer to take it for free.

The engine, brakes, body panels, and glass are all useable so I don't want to just give up the car for free. Any help would be much appreciated!
