I'm up here outside Albany, just got a Cooper a few weeks back...doesn't appear to be any club in the area although I do see a few vehicles around...I'm always interested in chatting about cars, helping with repairs etc...I've got a heated garage, which can be pretty useful in the winter.

I don't live near Albany unless you're scale for distances is galactic, but I don't want you to think that this "club" is totally inert either. I have been told that these cyber clubs are very club-like. There is an actual physical club in SW New Hampshire at www.mini-mama.org although they may be more low-key during the Winter than at other times. Browsing through these posts will show that there are many MINI owners living in up-state NY.

Hey there! I'm in the Albany area. There is a group that meets occasionally, but I haven't been to any of the events so far. They post info over on the Upstate NY forum on nemini.org.

I'm about 80 miles east of Albany in Wallingford, Vermont. I'd be interested in knowing about a club if there is one. Just ordered my MCS from KeelerMINI, won't have it for several weeks, maybe you'll have something going by then?

 

I'm up to joining an area club too. I'm about 60 mile south of Albany. Have my MCS on order from Prestige (slightly closer than Keeler.) I think I'm production week 3 -- I guess it'll be enjoying a cruise and be here 2nd week of Feburary just in time fo the US launch.
If I find out about clubs I'll pass the info along.
Is anyone thinking of going to The Dragon in May?
It would be cool to drive down as a group, maybe hook up with a club or two along the way.

 

Will be making the trip to Albany shortly visiting Keeler,the checkmate is almost a year old. We are in the Binghamton area...

Never done the Dragon... might be fun!

Another one here (Saratoga-ish), and in terms of regional I and a few others keep up at nemini.org.

I don't think I'll be making it to MOTD, just bad timing, but I might be down for a run down there some other time. It's a nice bit of road, eh.

 

So who's going and when? I think I just got a room so that hurdle maybe crossed. I just got my new MINI last night so those are the two biggest must-haves taken care of. A road trip sounds like it could be fun, especialy in the Spring just as Spring Fever is kicking in and Cabin Fever is breaking.
Might be cool to try and meet up.
