>>There was a Silk Green MC flashing lights on the PIP for a while, I couldn;'t figure out if I should slow down or speed up... Let me know what was happening...
>>Hmm.... wasnt me, we did have a pretty good turnout of Silk Green MINIs though! Any other Silk Greens flashing themselves on the PIP? >>

That wasn't me either. I think there were only 3 of us SGs. Mine was the only black roof, then there was one with bonnet stripes and one without.

>>Just seeing all those hot MCSs following me made me want to go faster! I was doing 95 when KOOLMINI blew past me.
>>
>>Anyone notice the look on that NY trooper's face as 8 or 9 MINIs went past him?
>>
>>Thankfully his cruiser was facing west. The guy had a look of bewilderment on his face and he had his head turned about 120 degrees watching us go by.
>>

I saw the trooper with that look on his face, too. We got lucky he was facing west.
I don't think my one NJ PBA card would have gotten all 8 or 9 of us out of speeding tickets.

>>It was really fun to see everybody, but we did not drive, we own minis not classic cars for shows, It was a great effort in the event; the goodies from mini queen great but no driving
>>
>>I hope we do this more frequent but please people lets drive next time, the seven lakes drive is a nice curvy road with great speed limits, a have to go alone, well I believe Weekendracer follow me for a bit and then he split.
>>
Yeah that was me. I got off at the last exit at that circle, rt 106. That's my usual route when I go driving up there. Great road, many tight turns, but a little bumpy, feels like WRC! Too bad I got stuck behind a minivan. If you go the other direction on 106, that's a great drive also. Takes you to rt 17 at the end.

Harmini,

That was me in the Silk Green MC flashing my lights on the PIP. I was trying to alert traffic on the westbound side that there was a trooper. I remember when I used to travel on the NY state Thruway, alot of the turckers would flash their lights to alert people that there was a state trooper. This saved me on many ocassions!!

daniel1,

I was in the Indi Blue Cooper behind you, thanks for the trooper warning...I saw him right as you waved. Surprised there weren't more out there. I never realized the Palisades was a drag strip!

No problem. When I was walking around in the parking lot, I was trying to tell as many people as possible about the rash of troopers on the PIP as I am familiar with this Parkway.

It was great to meet many of you on Sunday. Special thanks to MiniQueen for all the goodies. And great job by Mercedes doing the raffle. Found out my son left our tix in the car...and we had one of the numbers....oh well!!! VERY COOL outing. Your car was awesome!. Sorry we could not attend the drive to Cold Springs as we had family obligations. Thanks to whoever posted the pix they're great !!!!

We will be attending the rally at Prestige next week and we hope to see many of you there.

Regards,

Jackman and family..
