I've been using this one, the Kinivo BTC-450.

Works perfectly, connects automatically, streams music with good quality. No issues at all.

I prefer it to the Belkin Aircast, my former favorite.

I should have asked, "what do you want the bt device to do for you"? This is a simple solution: uses the Aux-in, fits in the power outlet, allows the smartphone to pair/connect and stream audio. A small, 1.25" mic/control button mounts separately...mines almost hidden on the lower knee panel next to the center console. Installs in 5 mins or less.

I use mine with a Droid Razr Maxx, incoming phone calls put other audio on pause till you're done. I'm told I can be heard very clearly, even at highway speed (with a JCW exhaust).

HTH.

No, it doesn't allow use of the buttons; for that, you will need a Parrot device or similar, and an installation that involves taking apart the dash/radio and so forth. The Belkin or Kinivo are really simple solutions, similar to the Nokia device but targeted for automobiles.

Another NAM member posted photos...in this link:

I didn't mount my microphone/switch on the dash surface, but on the knee panel just below. But otherwise...that's what I have.

Sorry to bring back an older thread but just curious what made you settle on the Kinivo vs the Belkin unit Thanks!

me too. I was going to recommend the Belkin AirPlay. Why do you like the Kinivo instead?

Thanks!
