Gong sounds
Is their a way to disable the gong sounds? For instance I place my ipad or backpack on the passenger seat and the car thinks that someone is in the passenger seat. The sound starts to annoy the ***** out of me.
What year is your car? We have a 2009 and 2012. We can turn both down via the radio interface. There is a volume control for that function. You just have to find it. First thing what model and year is your car.
I just got a "chimex" from Cravenspeed and it's been fantastic for when my dog is standing on the seat to look out the window (yes, I know I'm a horrible person for having my dog in the front and not secured somewhere in back).
Sorry for the lack of info guys. It's a 2012 Countryman S All4. Ive turned the sound down but still find it annoying. All my other vehicles (Ford trucks) hava a way of disabling the belt reminder so I hoped this one did too.
There will be a setting for the Gong. press the right **** when you are hovered over the gong setting. Then use the right **** to lower it to as negative as it will go. Problem solved! When it is at its lowest setting, you cannot hear it over even the faintest music.

The MINI as previously stated is not as easy, buckle up the belt or get a chimex or learn NCS Expert and code the car.
Buy an extra seatbelt buckle (might be able to find some one who did a rear seat delete with an extra buckle they'd sell cheap) and just stick it in the clasp. When you have a passenger, throw the extra buckle in the glove box.
