SIRIUS Radio

Hey Everyone,

I am a newbe and love this site. I just bought a brand new 06 MC. Its Pepper White with the DSC, Premium #1 (steering controls) and Cold Weather pacakge and the KH sound system. I love it.

I know that I have the ability to have Sirius in the car but after combing the site I haven't really seen the right way to do it. Do I need the magnet that mounts on the roof and then have that wire go to the radio? I know that the answer is on this site and I apologize if I am beating a dead horse!

Thanks again!

I have my antenna sitting on my dash about a half inch from the windshield. I routed the wire along the windshield towards the passanger side by the door and thru the glovebox. I have my receiver suctioncupped right above the glovebox door.

randall23,

There is LOTS of information here, you just need to do a search.

Here, try this:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...archid=2625500

The first question you need to ask - are you looking for the OEM solution that integrates with the stock system... are are you looking to attach an aftermarket receiver? Pros and cons with each.

SIRIUS Radio

Thanks for the great links. I knew there was going to be lots of information, I just didn't know where to go to find it.

I am going to do a similar search on the Bluetooth. I am sure that is a similar can of worms!

Thanks again to all!

In order to help reduce the number of results to more relevant information, I suggest you choose only this specific forum (1st Generation Navigation & Audio), and that you also choose only to search thread titles, not all text.

antenna mount

Mounted my sirius antenna under the passenger vent cover in front of the windshield. Palo Uber sent me a plate that gives it a perfect view of the sky. Posted pics of it to the forum before.
