Motorola Bluetooth

I've been looking into several Bluetooth options. I know most here are fans of the Parrot eVo system...has anyone used the Motorola IHF? Can I integrate it into the MFSW and little microphone space the same way I can with the eVo?

I had the IHF1000, worked fine. Mike goes into the OEM space. No integration w/MFSW

We have an kit coming soon that will be using the MFSW wheel controls, like OEM. This will allow for voice commands, phonebook retrieval and an digital notepad for memos and integrate like OEM.

Most important part - what type of phone will you be pairing with the system?

A Motorola KRZR - Verizon.

I tend to gravitate towards Motorola phones which is why I was headed in this direction. My Motorola earpiece broke last weekend and I've had it!

I WANT to do the Parrot because I know Mike sells it with the integration to the OEM mic space and MFSW buttons. I was just looking for a less expensive option. I should probably just go for it.

Tom, you guys have been having rumblings about a solution for a few months now...any idea when it will be available and what the estimated price point will be? My offer as a non-nav test vehicle still stands!

Just feelin' out my options...

We're 90% there, we have a few other bells and whistles to add as options to the kit I think the MINI guys are going to like that will blow the doors off anything else out there.

We should be completing our kit soon, it will definitely be worth the wait.

MOT IHF 1000. Mike is installed in the OEM mic space.

You only need to hit the IHF1000 to initiate a call. After that, its all voice commands. Works fine. I have now had this unit installed in two others cars beyond this initial install and would not be without it.

You can put the little controller anywhere you want.

The thing is, I don't like the little controller. I want just the MFSW buttons. I don't want to look at the little controller at all.

Makes sense, but realize from the drivers seat, you can't see it at all where I put it. That, of course, made my wife upset since she had to feel for it but once you know where it is, its a moot point.

Whatever ... just showing a pic,.

No I gotcha, and I appreciate it. I'm just a little OCD about OEM appearance. I can't explain it

Thanks,
