iPod Freeze

I have the IPOD adaptor and I have just noticed that I am now having problems with my IPod freezing up when I use it outside of my MINI.
Anybody else notice a problem like this?

Being that you have an '06, i would suggest that you post this in the audio section for the '06. The 2007 folk would be just getting adapters if they could get them at all yet.

Mine always freezes too.
Every time I plug it in after being in the Mini it needs to be reset.
Any fixes?

This is really strange.

My 4th gen Nano has started acting hinky since I've been using it in my 2010 MCCS.

Every now and then it'll get confused as to what file is what. Audiobooks will play songs, songs selected will play different songs...

It will do it until I pull the iPod and reset it. I just figured it was my Nano, but after reading this, it makes me wonder if it has something to do with my Clubman's audio system.

It's a 3rd generation

You know when disconnecting it from your computer (After ejecting it) and the little line moves across the ipod screen saying it's safe to unplug it ?
the line goes really slow for the last little bit. Maybe 5 min.
If I disconnect before the little line finishes it freezes.

Sounds as if you need to do a full reset. I.E. remove all music blow away the operating system and re-initialize it. Googe it and you can find instructions.
