Need advice on rear speaker...

ok. here's what i have so far.
I'm installing an alpine deck and a F-250 amp (40x4 RMS)
In the front I already have installed polk DB6500 components.

For the rear I can't decide between another set of DB6500 components or db690 (6"x9").

From the specs the 6x9 can get lower range than the components, but I'm pretty sure the components should give me better clarity.

I still haven't decided if I want to add a sub yet or not....

Which would you choose? 6.5" components for the rear or 6x9?....

The price difference is about about 70 bucks more for compenents (100 vs 170).

I'd go for a Sub and Components.

With the 6x9s you'll get your lows... but will they be "low" enough?

IMHO, go for clarity/quality in the cabin and let your sub give you a more robust low.
