AMP INSTALL

Has anyone put a small amplifier like the Alpine MRP-F250 in the right hand cubbyhole in the boot of an MCS where the Harmon Kardon amp would have been?

Is it diffucult running the cables back from the head unit?

Or am I better off placing it under the front seat?

I used to fit kenwood amps in there until they increased the size. There are existing nits in there that you can use for mounting. Cables are easy, just release the sill trim - 1 t50 torx for the seatbelt then its clipped into place
Have a look in the gallery at www.newministuff.com for some amp pics

Under the front passenger seat is quite a bit of space for an amp.
Much better than the smaller area on the sides of the boot.

If you find an amp small enough to fit in, it would be possible.

Check my sticky thread in this section to knwo how to run the wires.
