Navigation & Audio Kenwood "flip down" HU installed?

Has anyone installed one of these new Kenwood HUs with the two part face:

I am concerned that the flip down part might block access to the heat controls.

Advice?

I don't have that Kenwood HU, but I do have an Alpine (7995) that I keep in the 'tilted' position. I don't have any problems getting at the other controls.
