iPod playlists with artist drill down?

Does anybody know if after you create a play list can you then have another tree like structure to drill down and select the different artists in the playlists?

Thanks,

k

What brand kit are you using? Or are you referring to the iPod in general?

You can build playlists that draw only from another playlist, in iTunes. So, for example, if you made a smart playlist (GoodRock) that calls for only songs with a rationg of greater than three and that contains "rock" in the genre, you could then make another playlist that only has sings from the playlist GoodRock, that are 5 stars, and whose genre is Hard Rock.

I don't think you can, in any way, select GoodRock and then bore down into it for stuff only from one band.

That looks to be about the best way I have heard of trying to do what I want. Thanks for the tip.
