Anyone have the wiring diagram for the factory IPod adaptor that hooks into the head unit.

Do you just need the pin outs for the unit? Or are you looking for something different?

The install instructions, containing pin outs, can be found here:

Thanks...Just what I needed.
I think that may be what is causing my problem with my XM & Blitzsafe not workign. I'm going to uninstall the IPod adaptor and see if the xm works

I have a question about the OEM iPod adapter and the Blitzsafe SLD01 kit.

I have read that the OEM adapter will not work with the SLD01 kit. Fine, but I ran accross somwthing this weekend.

Since I had started with the OEM kit and it "splices" into the harness, it is semi-permanent. OK, but the object was to get XM to work.
That being my goal, I caught a deal on the SLD01 kit. While installing it, I noticed that I could leave the iPod unit plugged in and the only thing I have to change is the audio that goes from the rear of the car. XM works!

Going one step farther, I pushed the mode button on the HU and changed from the XM back to the iPod. Controls are there, but no audio. So, I unplugged the audio from the XM and plugged the iPod back in - voila - it works.

So, my question is this: can I make some sort of switch that could "swap-over" the audio when I want to listen to the iPod vs. the XM?
