Thanks!

Yes - V28 will show 4-1/80 to be precise.

Thanks! Just burned the v28 (4-1/80) upgrade CD and will update the system soon. Hopefully all will go as smoothly as the last 2 upgrades that I performed on my 2006 MCS' NAV.

Yes, v28 is indeed 4-1/80.

v27.1 = 4-1/72 (you said 71, but I thought that it was 72. No?)

v27 = 4-1/70

As far as I'm aware, there isn't any compelling reason to install v28 if you already have v27.1 installed (i.e. there's no real changes for North American cars). Note that I'm also about to make a post (as soon as I have the time to write it up) that will show MINI folks something cool they can do with their nav system when updating the OS and so it might be worth holding off on doing the update until you see my post (as what I will be explaining requires a nav update in order to work).

Sorry guys... I've been pretty busy the last few days. I'm working on getting a few screen shots of my nav system for everyone to see. Once I get them done, I'll put up a post talking about the changes I made. It's no real biggie. Just an additional something cool for us to further personalize the MINI's nav system is all.
